BUTI YOGA

Join Jessica Sargent for a fifty-minute power and Buti yoga class. Buti in Indian Marathi means “the cure to something hidden or kept secret.” This practice is a high-intensity fusion of yoga, tribal dance, and plyometrics. These sweaty, core-focused classes combine cardio, strength training, and flexibility in one seamless format. Buti creates a strong, empowered tribe that supports each other in their quest for health and happiness. Buti classes utilize the spiral structure technique to facilitate the release and toning of the body – physical, emotional, and energetic. Through primal movement, dynamic asana, and cardio-sprints, students break down the emotional barriers that hold them back from practicing self-love and true human connection. Music guides the class and the beat blended movement forces you out of your head and into your body. All formats incorporate shaking and vibration to help release stored trauma and stimulate cellular reorganization. Join this class where we move together with intention, without judgment, and leave the mat feeling a part of something bigger than ourselves. Lavender essential oils, warm towels, and hands-on assistance can be provided (optional).
